Overview
About AI security services
AI changes security in two directions at once. The AI tools and features your business adopts bring new risks, such as prompt injection, data leakage and agents that can be tricked into taking actions. At the same time, AI can help security teams triage alerts, investigate faster and spend less time on repetitive work.
Cenvox works on both sides. We test and review the AI systems you build or adopt, help you put sensible controls around AI use, and use AI-assisted techniques to make security operations more efficient. People stay in charge of every decision: AI supports the analyst, it does not replace them.
A typical starting point
You are adopting AI tools or building AI features, and want to do it securely, or you want AI to help your security operations.
The security problem
The new risks that come with AI
Sensitive data shared with AI tools
Staff paste customer data, code or confidential documents into public AI services without clear rules.
Prompt injection and manipulation
AI applications can be tricked by crafted input or poisoned documents into ignoring their instructions.
AI agents with too much access
Assistants that can send emails, query databases or call APIs can be turned against you if not tightly limited.
Over-reliance on AI output
AI makes confident mistakes. Without human review, wrong conclusions can drive real security decisions.
What’s covered
Three areas of AI security
Area 01
AI application security
- Prompt injection and jailbreak testing, direct and indirect
- Sensitive data and system-prompt leakage
- RAG and vector database access controls
- AI agent tool use, permissions and excessive agency
- The web application and APIs around the model. See AI and LLM penetration testing
Area 02
AI-assisted security operations
- AI-assisted alert triage and summarisation
- Faster investigation with AI-supported log and event analysis
- Draft incident summaries and reports for analyst review
- Clear rules on what data AI tools may process
- Human review of every conclusion and action
Area 03
AI risk and secure adoption
- Inventory of AI tools and features in use
- Acceptable-use policy for AI tools
- Data classification rules for AI inputs
- AI vendor and third-party risk questions
- Mapping to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework
Good to know
AI supports analysts, it does not replace them
AI is good at summarising, sorting and spotting patterns in large volumes of data. It also makes mistakes with confidence. In our AI-assisted security operations, an experienced analyst reviews every conclusion before anything is reported or acted on.
Good to know
Testing the model and everything around it
Many AI security problems are not in the model at all, but in the permissions, data connections and APIs around it. Our AI and LLM penetration testing covers the whole system, including the web application and API layer.
Our approach
How an AI security engagement works
Step 1: Discover
We map the AI tools, models, data sources and integrations in use or planned.
Step 2: Assess
We test AI applications and review AI use against recognised risks and your own policies.
Step 3: Plan
We agree prioritised controls: technical fixes, guardrails, policies and monitoring.
Step 4: Implement
We help your team put controls in place and introduce AI-assisted workflows where they help.
Step 5: Review
We retest fixes and review AI use again as tools, models and threats change.
Frameworks we work with

- The most widely used list of security risks for LLM-based applications.
- NIST AI RMF 1.0
- NIST’s AI Risk Management Framework and its Generative AI profile.
- MITRE ATLAS
- A knowledge base of adversary tactics and techniques against AI systems.
- ISO/IEC 42001

Before we start
What we need to review your AI use
- A list of AI tools, features and vendors in use or planned, as far as you know it.
- For testing: access to the AI application, test accounts and a description of its data sources and tools.
- A contact who owns AI use or policy decisions.
- For AI-assisted operations: an overview of your security tools, alert volumes and current workflow.
Not sure you have everything?

Contact our teamWhat is the difference between AI security and AI and LLM penetration testing?
AI and LLM penetration testing is one part of AI security: hands-on testing of a specific AI application. AI security services also include AI-assisted security operations and help with policies, data controls and risk reviews for AI adoption.
What does AI-assisted security operations mean?
It means using AI tools to help analysts work faster, for example by summarising alerts, grouping related events or drafting investigation notes. An analyst reviews every output; AI does not make security decisions on its own.
Is it safe to put security data into AI tools?
Only with the right controls. We agree in advance which tools may be used, what data they may process and where it is stored, and we avoid sending sensitive data to services that would retain or train on it.
Do you sell AI security software?
No. Cenvox provides security services. Where tools are needed, we use established tools and your existing platforms.
